Many people who travel to Cha Am are probably starting out in Bangkok, either to spend most of their time in Bangkok or to just get a quick getaway to one of the beaches in Cha Am. Many tourist pick the beaches in Cha Am to relax at because they have less people there. Like stated earlier, it can be difficult to travel to Cha Am, even from a big city such as Bangkok.
